Dermatomyositis [DRB1 RISK ALLELE] (Haplotype) - SINGLE ASSAY TEST – Blood or Tissue Samples preferred

(ONLINE PRICE)

Test Overview:

Blood or tissue samples are preferred for accurate genotyping with single assay tests. High-risk haplotypes (“AABBCC”, “AaBBCC”, “AABbCC”, etc.) should be avoided in planned matings; breeders should use genotype test results to select pairings that minimize risk (prefer wild-type combinations). Routine haplotype testing in breeding dogs is recommended to reduce the prevalence of DMS in susceptible breeds (Collie, Shetland Sheepdog)
