Do not breed affected males, as all their daughters will be carriers and some male offspring may be affected. Do not breed female carriers because they can produce affected male kittens and carrier daughters. Breed only females confirmed clear (no mutation) with males tested clear or unaffected. Share genetic test results transparently for responsible breeding decisions.
