Primary Congenital Glaucoma affects cats and is a disease that gradually leads to blindness. This disease damages the optic nerve and results in a loss of retinal ganglion cells. This disease is characterised by eyeball enlargement, increased intraocular pressure and elongation of ciliary process. Damaged optic nerve and loss of vision will usually begin around 6 months of age.
