Hypotrichosis with Short Life Expectancy (Feline)

$50

(ONLINE PRICE)

Test Overview:

Test all breeding cats for the FOXN1 mutation to identify carriers. Avoid breeding two carriers together, as this can produce affected kittens with this fatal condition. Breeding a carrier with a cat free of the mutation is safe: about half the kittens will be carriers but healthy. Test kittens before breeding to avoid unknowingly breeding carriers. Be transparent about test results with fellow breeders and buyers.
