Haemophilia B (Variant 1)

$50

(ONLINE PRICE)

Test Overview:

Test all breeding cats, especially males and their mothers, for the haemophilia B mutation (F9 gene variant). Do not breed affected male cats because they will pass the faulty X chromosome mutation to all daughters (carriers) and no healthy sons. Females who are carriers should not be bred because they can produce affected male kittens and carriers. Mate only females known to be clear (no mutation) with males tested clear or that are unaffected to prevent producing affected or carrier kittens. Inform breeders and buyers about mutation status for responsible breeding decisions.
